The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in several districts of Telangana. Starting today, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, and Mahabubabad will experience intense downpours. On the 20th of this month, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Kumuram Bheem, Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Warangal, and Hanamkonda districts.
