Unemployment Protests Surge in Malkajgiri as Congress Fails Promises

PaperDabba News Desk – Jul 9, 2024 Unemployment protests in Malkajgiri are intensifying as many express their dissatisfaction with the Congress government’s failure to fulfill its promises.

Protests Erupt in Malkajgiri

Malkajgiri MP Mr. Etela Rajender has voiced concern over the Congress government’s inability to deliver on its promises. Unemployed youth who supported Congress believing jobs would be available if KCR were defeated are now protesting.

Incomplete Promises by Congress

Promises made in the Congress party manifesto have now become unattainable. Unemployed youth demand two main things: an increase in job notifications and proper gaps between exam dates.

Students’ Struggle

Students are staging protests and hunger strikes. At home, many are also on hunger strikes. The government’s harsh response, including lathi charges and arrests, has worsened the situation.

BJP Support

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has extended full support to the demands of the unemployed. They have pledged to participate in the protests actively. The BJP Yuva Morcha is courageously organizing these protests.

Immediate Government Response Needed

Mr. Etela Rajender has urged the government to address the demands of the unemployed immediately. He also highlighted the injustice faced by low-income families in Peerzadiguda, whose homes were demolished despite having proper permits.

Warning to Officials

Mr. Rajender warned that officials who oppressed the poor during YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s regime ended up in jail. He urged current officials to work for people with low incomes and avoid actions that cause them trouble.

The unemployment protests in Malkajgiri reflect growing dissatisfaction due to the Congress government’s failure to fulfill its promises. BJP support suggests the government needs to take immediate action.
