Telangana’s Road and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced a special focus on the development of roads across the state. The minister revealed that tenders for this project would soon be invited with the central government’s approval.

Critical Initiatives in Mahbubnagar District

Minister Komatireddy laid the foundation stone for new road construction projects worth Rs. 130 crore in the Jadcherla constituency during his visit to Mahbubnagar district. Speaking at a public meeting organized in Jadcherla, he brought good news to the district’s residents by promising comprehensive support for road development.

New Ring Road Project

A new ring road project has been proposed to connect Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar, and Bhootpur. This project aims to enhance connectivity and reduce travel time within the district, thereby promoting economic growth and development.

Expansion of Hyderabad-Bangalore National Highway

Minister Komatireddy made a crucial announcement regarding expanding the Hyderabad-Bangalore National Highway to 12 lanes. He mentioned discussions with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and expressed efforts to commence the project soon.

Government’s Six Guarantees

The Telangana government is actively working on implementing six essential guarantees, including providing free bus travel for women, subsidies on cooking gas, and free electricity. The minister highlighted the timely payment of salaries to employees and pensions to retired personnel, contrasting it with the previous government’s inefficiencies.

Job Opportunities for Unemployed Youth

Minister Komatireddy assured the unemployed youth that the government would soon be committed to filling all vacant positions, eliminating the need for concern or agitation.

Progress on Irrigation Projects

The minister criticized the previous government for neglecting the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project despite initiating it. He pointed out that while the Kaleshwaram project was completed, the Palamuru-Rangareddy project was pending. The current government is taking proactive steps to complete all pending projects, ensuring comprehensive development across the state.
