Anam Criticizes Previous Leadership
Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has sharply criticized the behaviour of former chief ministers of the two states, accusing them of uniting only for selfish gains and contracts. According to Anam, their meetings were driven by personal interests rather than the states’ welfare.
Accusations Against Jaganmohan Reddy
Anam has openly criticized the current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, stating that he lacks political maturity. Anam pointed out that despite the new government being in power for less than four weeks, Jagan is already spreading negative propaganda against it.
Surprised by Jagan’s Comments
Anam expressed his astonishment at Jaganmohan Reddy’s calls for President’s Rule, noting that the secretariat’s chairs have not been adequately arranged yet. He found it surprising that the former chief minister would claim that the administration was failing so early on.
Jagan’s Obsession with Power
Anam further criticized Jagan, claiming he has an unhealthy obsession with power. He emphasized that the state is not a kingdom to be ruled over by hereditary monarchs but a democracy where the people elect leaders.
Commitment to People’s Welfare
Despite the challenges of bifurcation, Anam assured that the government would not neglect any of the promises made during the division. He promised that all necessary measures would be taken to protect the state’s interests.
Focus on Endowments
Anam stated that the government is committed to reclaiming encroached endowment lands and is dedicated to developing Hindu temples. The government aims to ensure the preservation and growth of religious sites and endowment properties.
