Microlink Networks to Boost Telangana’s Economy
American telecommunications giant, Microlink Networks, is set to invest Rs.500 crores to establish its electronic and other product centers in Telangana, announced the state’s IT and Industries Minister, Duddilla Sridhar Babu. In collaboration with Hyderabad-based PSR Industries, Microlink will launch an industrial cluster, aiming to produce electronic, IT, and construction equipment over the next three years.
Major Employment Opportunities
Microlink Networks’ investment is expected to create 700 job opportunities within three years. Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted the fruitful discussions held with Microlink’s management during his recent visit to the United States, leading to their decision to invest in Telangana.
Global Leaders in Innovation
Microlink Networks is a global leader in data transmission, networking cables, the Internet of Things, and multi-level parking systems. Their partnership with PSR Industries is set to enhance these domains. Sridhar Babu emphasized that Telangana has no shortage of skilled personnel to support these industries.
Strategic Meeting in Secretariat
On Thursday, Microlink’s global representatives, along with PSR Industries Chairman Srirangarao, met with the Minister in the Secretariat. The meeting included PSR Industries Chairman Srirangarao, Director Namyuta, Executive Director Dharmaraju Chakravaram, and Microlink Global representatives Dr. Denis Motava, Sean Philips, Joe Zoghbi, and Ashok Persotham.
With this strategic investment, Telangana is set to become a hub for electronic and IT manufacturing, driving growth and employment in the region.
