iPhone 14 Won’t Bring Incremental Changes Over iPhone 13

The standard iPhone 14 may not come with a significant change over last year’s iPhone 13. However, Apple is likely to drop the mini model and bring a bigger 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max or iPhone 14 Plus. The iPhone 14 might come with a 90Hz refresh rate panel this time.

iPhone 14’s Starting Price Could Be Rs 77,000, Says Leak Ahead Of Apple Far Out Event

Brazil Stops Sales Of iPhones Without Chargers, Fines Apple

Meanwhile, Brazil has fined Apple and halted sales of iPhones without chargers. According to the Brazilian government, Apple selling iPhones without chargers only burdens the consumers. Apple is also facing a BRL$12,275,500 fine (roughly $2.3 million) from Brazil’s Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), says a report by Ars Technica.

The tech giant can appeal Brazil’s decision.

Apple Event: Locally Assembled iPhone 14 Likely To Serve Big Portion Of India’s Buying Population

For years, China has had supremacy when it comes to manufacturing new iPhone models, but the pattern is set to change as Foxconn Technology Group, Apple’s contract manufacturer and a primary manufacturer of iPhones would begin assembling the iPhone 14 device at a facility near the southern state of Chennai “almost simultaneously” with China this year. The locally assembled iPhone 14 models would give a big boost to Apple’s Make In India plans and serve a big portion of the country’s iPhone buying population, market analysts said on Tuesday.

iPhone 14 Launch Live: It’s that time of the year again. The latest iterations of Apple’s flagship products — the iPhone and iPad — are set to break cover at the Cupertino tech giant’s ‘Far Out’ event, set to kick off at 10:30pm IST tonight. Alongside the iPhone 14 series and the iPad (2022) lineup, Apple is also expected to launch two variants of the Apple Watch Series 8 (which the rumour mill suggests includes a Pro variant) as well as the AirPods Pro 2. The ‘Far Out’ event will be held at Apple’s Cupertino, California, headquarters.

This live blog will feature all the updates from Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event. Ardent fans can watch the event live on Apple’s official website, official YouTube channel, or social media channels.

Apple is rumoured to debut a 6.7-inch phone at the event, according to reports. The iPhone 14 is expected to have a bigger screen size and might be available at a cheaper price than iPhone 13. Apple may not launch a mini-sized iPhone in the iPhone 14 series, some rumours suggest.

We expect to see four new iPhone 14 models — iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max, and the top-of-the-line iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro model is expected to be slightly slimmer compared to its counterpart in the current series. The tech giant is expected to ditch the notch around the front-facing camera system in the new iPhone models and introduce a hole-punch display for the first time in the franchise. Apple users may get a camera quality upgrade with the iPhone 14. One could be able to shoot videos in 8K using the iPhone 14.

Apart from iPhone 14, Apple fans can also expect the next generation of iPad at the ‘Far Out’ event. Apple doesn’t officially number its iPad models, so it’s safe to call it iPad (2022) for now. The 10th-generation iPad lineup could feature a base iPod model, as well as an M2-powered iPad Pro variant.
