In the recent past, social media has been stormed with incidents of rascist remarks againt Indian nationals living in abroad, invoking storng reaction from the diaspora living there. In a similar incident, an unhinged Caucasian man allegedly heckled an Indian national residing in Poland’s capital Warsaw and called him a “parasite invader”.
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media with several users claiming it to be a footage shot outside Atrium Reduta Shopping Centre in Warsaw. ABP LIVE, however, could not independently verify the authenticity of the video.
“Why are in you Poland? There are too many of you in America,” the white man can be heard saying in the video shared on social media. The video has been widely shared on Twitter and the user who posted it on the micro-blogging site claimed that the person was American.
“He’s from America but is in Poland because he’s a white man which makes him think he has the right to police immigrants in “his homeland” Repulsive behavior, hopefully, he is recognized,” the Twitter user posted along with the video of the incident.

In the video, the Indian man asks him not to shoot the video and tries to avoid the heckler. However, the foreigner keeps following and abusing him.
“Why are you in Poland? In America, there are too many of you guys. Do you think you can invade Poland? Do you think you can invade Poland? Why don’t you return to your own country?” the heckler could be heard saying in the video.
Despite being asked by the Indian national not to record the video, the foreigner asks, “Europeans want to know why you think you have the right to invade our country. Why are your people invading our homelands? You have India! Why are you coming to the white man’s land?.”
The recent incident adds to the list of series of instances where hate against Indian nationals living abroad made headlines. Recently, an Indian-American residing in California termed as a “dirty Hindu disgusting dog”. Another such incident took place in Texas where a group of Indian national women were similarily heckled and asked to “go back” because they were ‘ruining’ US.
