The batting maestro reached his fifty off 47 balls and scored his century off 80 deliveries. Notably, Virat had luck on his side as he got two reprives – his two catches were dropped by the Sri Lankan players in today’s game.

Virat Kohli broke many records with this ton. This was his 9th ODI century against Sri Lanka, and his 20th ton on home soil. By the virtue of this ton, he also equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 20 centuries.
