Delhi Battles Bitter Cold As Mercury Dips In North India, Several Trains Delayed

New Delhi: The entire north India continues to be under the grip of a severe cold wave making it difficult for people to battle the freezing conditions. The minimum temperature, as recorded by Delhi’s Safdarjung observatory, was 4.6 Degrees Celsius while at Palam, it was 6 degrees Celsius.

The falling temperatures are a result of a fresh spell of snowfall in the upper northern India regions. Kurfi in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh received fresh snowfall on Monday making it a visual delight for tourists.
