The issue of red sandalwood smuggling has once again come to the forefront with allegations that the heirs of infamous smuggler Veerappan are continuing his legacy of looting national wealth. Central Home Minister of State, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has made strong remarks on this matter, emphasizing that those responsible will not be spared.

He accused these appointees of misusing their positions to exploit temple resources. This, according to him, led to a betrayal of the Hindu community’s trust.
