A female MMA fighter left a man bloodied on the ground after he allegedly snatched her smartphone from her hand.
Onlookers watched on in disbelief as the woman, only identified as Brisa, 20, grabbed the man and delivered several blows to his head over the alleged daylight robbery.
The incident took place in the centre of the tourist hotspot and resort Mar del Plata in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires last Tuesday.
Brisa was reportedly leaving work when the man grabbed her phone and ran off with it, prompting the MMA fighter to chase him, with the help of a friend.
As the pair yelled at bystanders to try stop the man, a group of workers eventually detained him as a furious Brisa retrieved her phone.
According to local reports, the 20-year-old became so angry, she administered several blows to his head, before pulling his hair and putting him in a headlock.
Footage shows the man bloodied on the ground as onlookers watched on in shock.
Brisa, who is only 145cm tall can then be heard shouting: “Son of a b**ch, get a job! You think I spend all day locked up at work just so you can steal from me in three seconds?”

The 20-year-old refused to let the man go until police arrived and took him away in handcuffs, according to reports.
During an interview on the local TV program show Nosotros a La Manana, the MMA practitioner said she was furious because after the pandemic hit she was put on a reduced salary and it had taken her months of saving to buy the new smartphone.
“I refused to accept this guy coming along and making more than half my wages in three seconds,” Brisa said.
“Hopefully this guy never steals again. I was lucky because I know how to defend myself as I practice MMA, but I don’t want it to happen to anyone else.”
Brisa said she is proud of how she acted and doesn’t regret a thing.
The investigation is ongoing.
