The man accused of murdering 23-year-old Celeste Manno has been charged and is due to front court four days after she was found dead.
A Melbourne man has been charged with murder over the death of Celeste Manno.
Luay Sako is expected to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday night.
Police will allege the 35-year-old Roxburgh Park man murdered the 23-year-old inside her Mernda home on Monday morning.
He is suspected of breaking into her room while she slept about 4.10am.
The young woman’s former colleague allegedly became obsessed with her when she was briefly nice to him after he was fired from a Serco call centre last year.
He has remained in hospital under police guard since Wednesday but was taken in for questioning on Thursday afternoon before being charged with murder.
