Dustin Johnson is the golf MVP of the Gretzky family.

As the 36-year-old golfer claimed his first Masters title on Monday (AEDT) — with longtime love Paulina Gretzky at his side — the Gretzky clan watched from afar with champagne at the ready.

“Let’s go fam!” Sara Gretzky, the wife of Paulina’s brother Ty, shared on her Instagram story as a group gathered around a TV.

Later in the day, Johnson celebrated with his loved ones, including brother Austin, his caddie, and Austin’s wife, Samantha.

Team Johnson shared their celebrations with pictures and videos on Instagram. One clip showed Johnson doing a little jig as the party started while another showed the family with drinks in hand, buzzing after the victory.

More social media updates showed Johnson and Co. taking an apparent private chartered flight to a ritzy Caribbean holiday destination Saint Barthelemy.

Austin Johnson was given the gig of caddying for his brother full time in 2016 after replacing Johnson’s former caddy Bobby Brown on a part-time basis in previous years.

It ended up being a very lucrative move for the younger brother. Having carried his older brother’s clubs during Johnson’s four tour wins this year, he earned more than Tiger Woods this calendar year.

On the back of Johnson’s win in the season-ending tour championship which saw him take home the FedEx Cup trophy and the $US15 million richest prize in golf, Austin Johnson is estimated to have earned more than $US2.3 million this year alone, according to sportscasting.com.

It’s not hard to see why the family was celebrating so hard after the Masters triumph.

Speaking after his win, Dustin paid tribute to his brother.

“It’s an unbelievable feeling to experience all this with my brother. He’s been a big help being on my bag, I love having him on my bag … it’s incredible,” Johnson said.

“He was tearing up and made me tear up.

“It was a lot of fun, I’ll remember this for the rest of my life.”

Leading up to the final round at Augusta, matriarch Janet Gretzky — who has been married to ice hockey icon Wayne Gretzky since 1988 — posted a sweet tribute to Johnson on Instagram.

“‘Twas the night before the Masters and all through house not not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Wait I am lying Wayne was pacing all night and I couldn’t sleep!! now let’s Go Dustin. No one has his back like his brother Austin Johnson!!! We love you,” she captioned the shots.

An emotional Johnson said Monday (AEDT) winning the Masters is a “dream come true.”

“As a kid, always dreamed about being a Masters champion,” he said while trying to collect himself.

“It’s just incredible, obviously as you can tell,” Johnson continued.

Johnson and Paulina have been engaged since 2013 and share two children: sons Tatum, 5, and River, 3.

Gretzky continued to turn heads during Johnson’s charge to victory on the final day with her daring outfit winning over golf fans.
