A Sydney woman will front court on Thursday, accused of grooming a young girl online for sex.
Detectives started talking to the 47-year-old woman online under the guise of a 14-year-old girl.
Police will allege the woman engaged in conversations about sexually explicit acts she wished to perform on the child.
The woman was arrested at a home in Greystanes, in Sydney’s west, in August where officers seized a number of electronic devices.
She was taken to Granville police station and charged with using a carriage service to groom a child younger than 16 years for sex and using a carriage service to send indecent material to person.
She appeared at Fairfield Bail Court in August where she was granted strict conditional bail to reappear at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday.
