If there was ever a time to enjoy a stiff drink, it would be 2020.
It’s safe to say some people will be substituting their usual chocolate advent calenders for something a little stronger — gin, perhaps — given the ups and downs of this year.
Last year when German retail store Aldi dropped its epic advent calendar, it immediately caused a frenzy and it appears an Australian beverage company is following suit.
Gin Loot just announced the release of its unique advent calendar which features 24 premium gins from Australia, New Zealand, France, UK, Sweden and Israel.
To help make that much more exciting, each 30ml bottle of gin has its own drawer which comes packaged in a box.
It also features detailed tasting notes for each gin so you can be a connoisseur by the time Christmas Day arrives. But if you want to get it for the current discounted price of $199, you better hurry as once pre-sale ends, it reverts back to its original cost of $249.
Some of the gin brands include Archie Rose, Herno, The Melbourne Gin Company, M & H, Scape Grace and Margaret River Distilling Co.
If gin isn’t quite your taste, Gin Loot’s sister company Whiskey Loot is offering a Whisky advent calendar which includes 24 samples from Japan, Scotland, Ireland, America and Australia.
It is a bit more expensive at $299 pre-sale or $329 full price.
No doubt both calendars will lift spirits this festive season.
