Macaulay Culkin wants you to wear a mask, ya filthy animals.
Culkin, who turned 40 this year, shared a selfie on Wednesday wearing a face mask featuring the open-mouthed screaming expression made famous in the 1990 film Home Alone.
“Just staying Covid-safe wearing by the flayed skin of my younger self. Don’t forget to wear your masks, kids,” the former child star wrote.
Within an hour of his posting, the tweet topped 111,000 likes and more than 17,500 retweets.
It’s unclear where Culkin bought his exact mask, but there are several variations of it on Etsy, Amazon, and RedBubble.
In 2018, Culkin sent fans into a tizzy when he reprised his role as naughty kid Kevin McCallister in an ad for Google Home. The video showed him recreating some iconic scenes, including putting on aftershave and jumping on his bed, as an adult.
The ad dropped shortly after the cheeky star gave fans the opportunity to give him a new middle name in a hilarious social media poll. He came good on his promise – changing his name to Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.

The Party Monster star announced this year he would be starring in Season 10 of American Horror Story and jokingly said he was confused when the casting news caused him to trend online.
He later joked that he took the role simply so he can do the “crazy” sex scenes with co-star and Oscar-winner Kathy Bates, 71.
There’s also a Home Alone reboot in the works via Disney starring Archie Yates, which Culkin wasted no time in mocking when it was announced last year.
“This is what an updated ‘Home Alone’ would actually look like,” he tweeted with a photo of him sitting on a couch in his boxers, a Nintendo 64 controller at his feet, a laptop and mouse on his lap, eating leftovers.
“Hey, Disney, call me!” the star posted in a follow up tweet.
True to form, the image instantly went viral.
