Video has captured the moment a protester at a pro-Trump rally in Denton, Texas was sucker-punched.

Rallies are taking all over the country with exactly one month to go until the US presidential election. Many pro-Trump rallies were organised following the news that the President has contracted COVID-19 and is in hospital.

In Ohio on the other side of the country, another pro-Trump rally turned sour after a man took a gun with him and opened fire on the crowd.

In the Texas incident, a man can be heard saying “I will mash you” to a man holding a sign and a camera phone.

“I’ll f***king eat your face off, motherf***ker,” he says as the pair come face to face. “Turn it off,” he says in regards to the man holding a camera mounted on a selfie stick.

“I’ll f**k you up,” he adds.

Then he takes a swing at the protester, who is clearly not expecting it.

The victim falls to the ground and appears to stay there for several seconds.

“Get up motherf*****r,” says the perpetrator. “Get up.”

The Denton Police Department quickly mounted a search.

“We are aware of an assault that occurred at Buccee’s in our city this afternoon,” the department’s chief of police, Frank Dixon, said in a statement.

“A report has been taken and detectives are conducting an investigation.

“If you have information, please call Denton Police at (940) 349-8181. The suspect is in the brown/red hat and black T-shirt.”

It’s not the only violent incident to occur at a pro-Trump rally in the last few hours, with police hunting down a gunman who shot at a crowd in Ohio.

A man opened fire during a pro-Trump car-parade Saturday morning at 10.40am, shooting through the window of a victim’s vehicle.

The shooter is believed to have been a participant of the parade.

According to dispatchers, a 911 caller reported that the shooter drove a black pick-up truck with Trump and American flags and a U.S. Marines sticker.

The incident occurred in Hilliard, a suburb in the capital city of Columbus.

Hilliard Police’s Public Information Officer Andrea Litchfield, said that officers responded to a call of shots fired on the I-270 motorway.

Litchfield said that no one was injured in Saturday’s events, but did not release any details of the person inside the vehicle that was shot at.

Police continue to search for the shooter.
