It’s a little delayed, but this week finally sees the highly anticipated special episode of The Walking Dead, nearly six months after the last episode aired.
Featuring an epic showdown between our post-apocalyptic heroes and the terrifying, zombie-skin wearing Whisperers, season 10 special A Certain Doom was worth the wait.
Written by Corey Reed and directed by TWD mainstay Greg Nicotero, the Season 10 special episode is an event not to be missed. And the good news is, The Walking Dead season 10 special will be released tomorrow, October 5 on Binge at 12pm.
As for where things are at, the special episode will feature a showdown between the show’s post-apocalyptic survivors and the creepy Whisperers, led by Beta (Ryan Hurst).
Because coronavirus delayed the effects work on A Certain Doom, the April 5 episode The Tower was the last TWD outing.
While it was expected A Certain Doom would technically be the season 10 finale, AMC announced that they’ll be adding six, bonus episodes on to the end of the season, to air in 2021.
Which means Season 10 will get a third season finale down the road.
The final, extended season of The Walking Dead will run over the course of 24 episodes and two years, ending in 2023.
