Instagram influencer Kayla Boyd has revealed she and NRL star husband Darius Boyd are celebrating the news they are expecting a third child in 2021.

Boyd revealed the news in a series of emotional Instagram posts on Friday.

Her big announcement comes less than 12 months since she had a “traumatic” labour with second child Romi.

The 32-year-old blogger says she is overwhelmed by their happy news, despite the memories of the emergency caesarean operation required to deliver Romi, who will celebrate her first birthday on September 28.

“It was very intense and quite traumatic,” she told New Idea last year.

“I was getting really stressed and bub was really stressed…It’s quite crazy because it all happened so much earlier than we expected.

Kayla’s post on Instagram on Friday shows the happiness far outweighs the distressing memory.

“Grateful to be growing another angel,” she wrote on Instagram.

“We were going to keep this to ourselves for as long as we could, though we felt such beauty should be embraced. Incredibly blessed for this new season of life, our third baby due 2021.”

Boyd also posted a short video of her ultrasound.

She is all loved up with her growing family.

“My darling daughters, Willow Kamila and Romi Yvés, have changed me so much,” she posted.

“They have softened me and made me more true to who I am more than ever. By far my greatest role I will ever do in my lifetime. I am so proud to be your mummy!

“Gosh, these captures really make me emotional.”

Boyd earlier this year told The Courier-Mail she would “so happy” if the couple were able to conceive in 2020 to give children Romi and, Willow, 5, a brother or sister.

“We’re not trying, but we’re not doing anything to prevent it,’ she told The Courier-Mail earlier this year.

“We’re not trying, but we’re not doing anything to prevent it,” she said.

“If it did happen we’d be so happy,” she said.
