Shoppers in search of a bargain are preparing to duke it out for a big TV at a rock bottom price, but if you don’t want to deal with the competition there are easier ways to get one.
Aldi Australia announced the sale on a Bauhn branded 58-inch 4K Android television as part of its Special Buys catalogue for September 19.
The television features Google Assistant so you can use voice commands and the remote also has direct buttons for Netflix, YouTube and Google Assistant.

Having not seen it we can’t exactly speak to the quality of the panel but at $579 the price is certainly right for this much screen at this resolution.
You’ll have to put your skates on if you want to grab one yourself though.
Aldi Special Buys are a favourite among bargain shoppers and stock is usually limited for the special items.
‘They will only have one per store with 100s waiting at the door, Typical ALDI Australia,’ one customer wrote on social media.
“Just ridiculous that there was only eight TVs in the store and all gone in the first minute,’ said another.

If you do manage to get one there is also a Bluetooth soundbar being sold for $90 and a movable TV wall mount for $60.
While 4K TVs used to be high-end tech costing thousands of dollars, the price has been coming down in recent years, particularly for LED models.
So if you don’t want to compete with the throng of shoppers at Aldi, there are other less frenetic options.
