The returning season of Farmer Wants a Wife may have wrapped only days ago, but there are plenty more eligible country blokes where that came from.
Channel 7 has released the 2021 crop of farmers ready to settle down this week, as well as call-out for new contestants.
This year, the show was revived after an eight-year hiatus by Channel 7 with returning host Natalie Gruzlewski.
Promising to bring “real love” back to our reality viewing, it looks like the show’s format is still a winner, with two successful matches made.
The finale saw one farmer, Alex, chuck a Blake Garvey and go crawling back to runner-up Henrietta, deeming winner Jess “just a friend”.
Alex and Henrietta are still together now.
Farmer Neil and Justine have also remained a couple following the show’s end.
This week, Farmer Wants A Wife has introduced Australia to five new romance-hopefuls ready to meet their future wives in 2021.
FARMER MATT, 26, VIC
“I am an easygoing farmer who loves a bit of banter, am very sociable and a good communicator. Wise beyond my years with a solid work ethic and incredibly driven. Love a good challenge and the sense of achievement that comes with accomplishment yet, can use my failures for future growth,” the blue-eyed beef and fodder farmer says in his profile.
FARMER SAM, 24, NSW
“I’m a fun, loving person with a heart of gold and a great sense of humour. I am an adventurous soul and am looking for someone to go on adventures with,” sheep and crops farmer says.
He loves One Direction, motorbike riding, and values “authenticity” in a partner.
FARMER WILL, 39, VIC
The party-boy sheep and cattle farmer describes himself as follows: “I am honest and energetic, love a party, but I also very much enjoy my downtime. I much prefer to be outside than indoors, I love almost all animals, I’m just a pretty normal down to earth bloke really!”
He’s into surfing, is well-travelled and a big Rolling Stones fan.
FARMER PETE, 29, QLD
“I am outgoing, friendly, straight up and I am not afraid to get in and have a go. I love building and making things,” grain farmer Pete says.
He also reveals he has four sister, can “talk about his feelings” and is looking for a lady with “a big of get up and go”.
FARMER ROB, 40, NSW
Rob’s a sheep and cattle farmer and father-of-two with a “big smiley face” according to his profile.
“I am an easy going country bloke who is very happy with my life, I’m highly driven, love my work and love to make the most of life,” he writes.
“I’m looking for a woman who is open to meeting the love of her life and live happily ever after on the farm. I hope she is a happy woman who is optimistic about the future, hardworking, confident, adventurous and loving.”
