A teenage boy, who was in the front passenger seat of a ute, has severed his arm in a horror single-vehicle smash north of Wollongong.
A teenager has lost his arm in a nasty single-vehicle crash north of Wollongong, NSW.
Emergency crews were called to Sea Cliff Bridge, on Lawrence Hargreaves Dr at Coalcliff just before 5pm on Sunday where officers made the grim discovery.
Police said the teenage boy was in the front passenger seat of the ute and suffered a severed arm in the crash.
A helicopter was called in to fly the teen to St George Hospital for treatment.
Traffic along Lawrence Hargreaves Dr was impacted for six hours in both directions.
