While most of the Bollywood celebrities are spending time with their family members and loved ones in lockdown, Parineeti Chopra is quarantining alone. The actress, who lives alone in Mumbai, took to social media to thank her friends for sending her food and checking up on her constantly.
In her Instagram post, Parineeti wrote, “Feeling so grateful for all the people in my life who love me and go that extra mile and prove it. I love you back. Thank you for sending me food everyday, helping me with groceries, checking up on me constantly, and keeping me positive. Quarantining alone is NOT easy; but you made it doable. #Home #Friends #Love #Grateful #Blessed (sic).”
Parineeti also shared a picture of idli that one of her friends sent for her. She wrote, “Starting with sending me hot meals.. everyone knows I can’t cook, so this is a life saver. Thank you for this yumm idlis Deepa ma’am (sic).”
The Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar actress also thanked her other friends for helping her everyday during the lockdown.
Sonam Kapoor, who is in quarantine with her husband Anand Ahuja in their Delhi home, commented on Parineeti’s post. She wrote, “Aww. Sending you virtual hugs.”
To which, Parineeti replied, “@sonammkapoor you are the sweetest one! love you.” followed by an orange heart emoji.
During lockdown, Parineeti is keeping herself busy by indulging in some self-care. She is also going down memory lane and remembering the good old days.
On May 12, Parineeti’s Meri Pyari Bindu completed three years of release. In the film, the actress was seen sharing screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana. Sharing a few pictures and videos from the sets of the film, she wrote, “Its been 3 years, but the climax of this film still gives me heartache. I can’t listen to my own song #MaanaKiHumYaarNahi without my stomach doing a flip. If you have ever experienced a broken heart, well then, this film… #MeriPyaariBindu did not get love at the BO, but its the most special film. Kolkata, the 90s, dost, baarish aur music. Sigh…. (sic).”
A day before that, on May 11, she shared a picture of her National Award certificate celebrating eights years of Ishaqzaade, her first film as a lead. She wrote, “THE FILM THAT GAVE ME THIS #NationalAward #SpecialMention #Grateful #Blessed #8YearsOfIshaqzaade Thankyou Adi, Habib Sir, Arjun, Shanoo, Gauahar, and my entire Ishaqzaade family for changing my life forever @arjunkapoor You became my first friend from the industry and will always remain so (sic).”
