The opening of cafes and restaurants is part of step one on the Federal Government’s roadmap back to normality.

But with different states and territories following their own path — and fears some limitations make reopening financially unviable for many — the future of our favourite cafes and restaurants is still far from certain.

Wes Lambert, CEO of the Restaurant & Catering Industry Association, will be online today to take your questions in an hour-long Q&A.

You can ask your questions in advance in the comments below or when the session starts at noon (AEST).

Due to the number of questions, Mr Lambert may not be able to answer everyone.
