Demi Moore shared a throwback photo from her wedding to ex Bruce Willis to honour the late Little Richard.
“Remembering #LittleRichard today … Bruce and I were so lucky and honoured to have him officiate our wedding back in 1987 — thankful for the memories. Rest easy,” she captioned the black-and-white photo.
Moore, 57, has been quarantining in Idaho with 65-year-old Willis, and their three daughters: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. His current wife Emma Heming and their two daughters, Evelyn and Mabel, joined the group last week.
Rock ‘n’ roll legend Little Richard died Saturday morning at age 87 of bone cancer. Following the news of his passing, Hollywood director Ava DuVernay remembered how Richard would tip her $100 per week when she was working as a waitress in Los Angeles.
“I served soul food brunch to Little Richard every Sunday for a year while waitressing at Aunt Kizzy’s Back Porch in LA,” the When They See Us showrunner tweeted following news of Richard’s passing. “I was a college student. He tipped me a crisp $100 bill each week on a $75 breakfast with friends. This was 30 years ago. Helped me so much. God rest his soul.”
WHY BRUCE AND DEMI ARE IN LOCKDOWN TOGETHER
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter Scout recently explained why her parents – divorced for 20 years – are seeing out the coronavirus pandemic together.
In a recent interview, Scout said the reason for the family’s unusual living situation before Willis’ wife Emma and two youngest daughters joined them from LA.
“It’s been so funny because to me they’re just like my super f***ing weird parents but to everyone else, they’re at this different level,” Scout, 28, said on the Dopey podcast.
“It’s actually been really cool. My stepmum was supposed to come up here with my little sisters but my younger sister, who is now about to be (6) years old, at a park, had never gotten the talk about not f***ing with hypodermic needles that she found, so she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot.”
“So my stepmum had to be in LA waiting to get the results from taking her to the doctor so my dad came up here and then travel got crazy so my stepmum stayed in LA with my little sisters,” she said.
