Thugs of Hindostan Audience Review: Netizens not happy with Aamir Khan film, Twitter floods with hilarious memes

Thugs of Hindostan is exactly what a ‘Fussi bomb’ looks like in real life. How disappointing, isn’t it? It dazzles bright in the beginning only to die with a whizzing sound. With it, collapses our hope of ever getting a good firecracker from the same brand. Aamir Khan was a flagbearer of some good content-driven film with a social message, or at least, among the three Khans, he was. What’s most disappointing about Thugs of Hindostan is, that it’s an Aamir Khan film. The audience is dying to go to the actor and scream, ‘Et tu, Aamir?’.

Well, the audience reviews of Thugs of Hindostan are already here, and they were as blasting as we expected. After raising the excitement level with its trailer and some really flashy promotional behind-the-scenes videos, TOH turned out to be a dud. Of cource, the audience wasn’t happy about it. As a result, Twitter is currently flooding with some really slapstick memes, jokes and trolls about Thugs of Hindostan. We have collated them all under one story at your disposal.

Not only audience, the film critics across the country also left theatres disappointed after watching Thugs of Hindostan. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “All that glitters is NOT gold… Holds true for #TOH… Some engrossing moments in the first hour, that’s about it… Formula-ridden plot, screenplay of convenience, shoddy direction are the main culprits”

“#ThugsOfHindostan may reap the benefit of the holiday period + tremendous hype + impressive names in its cast… But will find it difficult to sustain after the initial euphoria settles down… #TOH is a golden opportunity lost, a KING-SIZED DISAPPOINTMENT!,” he added.

Our film critic rated Thugs of Hindostan 2 out of five stars. She wrote, “Last year, Aamir Khan gave us such a wonderful Diwali gift with Secret Superstar, which was a soul-warming story of a mother-daughter duo. However, we cannot say such about Thugs of Hindostan. It was definitely not the Diwali hamper we were looking forward to.”
