2.0 New Posters Alert! Presenting Rajinikanth as Chitty and Akshay Kumar as Dr Richard

Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth will be sharing screen space for the first time in the film 2.0. The movie is a sequel to Rajini’s 2010 blockbuster Enthiran aka Robot and Akshay will be seen as a villain in the film, which has got fans excited about the movie’s release. The role of the leading lady in the film will be played by Amy Jackson. While fans can’t wait to watch the 2.0 teaser on September 13, the makers have now released new posters featuring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.

“Prepare for Chitty”, wrote director S. Shankar as he shared a new poster featuring Rajinikanth on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Sharing a character poster, Akshay wrote, “Here’s a special birthday treat for all my fans.Sharing with you my most powerful character & one which has probably stayed with me for the longest time.” He added a few details about his role too and tweeted, “I am the dark superhero for those who don’t have a voice! HUMANS BEWARE! @2Point0movie @LycaProductions @DharmaMovies #2Point0.”

2.0 is also touted to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. 2.0 will mark Akshay Kumar’s debut in the South film industry. His villainous avatar as Dr Richard has already left everyone astounded.  Akshay was last seen in the film Gold. The movie performed well at the box office and opened to a lot of positive reviews


2.0 is a sequel to the 2010 release Enthiran which featured Rajinikanth in dual roles, scientist Vasikaran and robo Chitty. 

The original one also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

As per reports, the film is now scheduled to release on November 29, 2018.
